Brass neck of the year

Branson gives his views to his panting, adoring public. No bail-outs, but £1.4bn of subsidy just isn't quite enough for the entrepreneurial genius.

I don't read the Observer. I only read the Sunday Times today because it was in the pub and I wanted to drink more slowly.

I did read a hideous article by Frank Field about creating a modern version of the Hitler Youth (OK, 'Service UK') which made me retch. In fact, if I can find it, I'll even post a post about it.
